Community outreach is a big part of what The Reif Center incorporates into it's programming each year. Made possible with funding from the MN State Arts Board, professional musicians and actors come in to talk about their art, and how to potentially incorporate it into one's life. They visit schools, nursing homes, libraries, and public spaces, making themselves readily available to the community members, then typically ending the week with a larger performance. This week, the Grand Rapids area has been treated to having Aby Wolf & Champagne Confetti all week long.
The ensemble played a pop up show at the Grand Rapids Library last night, and will cap off the week with a performance in the intimate Mary Ives Studio Theater at The Reif Center, Friday, January 31st at 7pm. Tickets available here.
