Live music taking place June 20-21, 2026 in Northern Minnesota.

KAXE's weekly list of concerts near you features Simon Cropp, Between Howls, Creekbed Carter Hogan, Bruce Archer, Aaron Tank, LaPlant Road and Landon Pahl.

From Minnesota musicians covering John Prine, Nanci Griffith, Graham Parson & Emmlyou Harris and more, to a bluegrass duo with a highly anticipated album release show, here's the Setlist for June 20-21, 2026!


First up, the second year of Country Coveralls is Saturday at Back Alley in Duluth. Three Minnesota artists are performing at the festival, with Americana singer-songwriter and pedal steel player Simon Cropp covering John Prine and Hank Williams, fan favorites Between Howls as a quartet, covering Graham Parsons & Emmylou Harris, and folksinger Creekbed Carter Hogan covering Nanci Griffith and Roger Miller. Music begins at 4 p.m.

Also Saturday, folk-blues artist Bruce Archer is playing Rutter’s Bay Lake Resort in Deerwood at 6 p.m. Archer just put out his second album, Some Days, Some Folks, showcasing his authentic country blues and heartwarming folk songwriting.

One more for Saturday is songwriter Aaron Tank at Sampaguita in Aitkin, 7 p.m. Tank writes questioning songs that explore life's big questions. He also leads the alt-rock band Stardust Collective.

And one for Sunday, LaPlant Road and Landon Pahl at the Reif Center in Grand Rapids, 2 p.m. Emily LaPlant and Liz Ashworth are a folk duo with bluegrass backgrounds who also draw from jazz and rock, and in Rapids, they’ll be celebrating the release of their new album Finding Home. Joining them on the bill is Landon Pahl, bass player of Wild Horses.
