The Setlist this week has four featured events spread over four days in Bemidji, Grand Rapids, and Aitkin.
Antonio Arce is a Latin folk guitarist and singer playing this Thursday at Ruttger's in Bemidji. With music influenced by his childhood in Argentina and Bolivia, he calls his style música romántica. The show begins at 6 p.m.
First Friday is here again and they are adding additional music throughout the summer months. The Old Central School Grounds in Grand Rapids will host music at 4 p.m., beginning this Friday with Annie Humphrey and Jeremy Ylvisaker. The two are fresh off a spring tour opening for the Indigo Girls. You can expect to hear songs from Humphrey's Light In My Bones album, produced by Ylvisaker.
Festival Rialto returns to Grand Rapids this Saturday at Rapids Brewing Co. Curated by headliners Wild Horses and Rapids Brewing, the festival this year will also feature artists like Charlie Parr, The Foxgloves and more on the main stage. There will also be a KAXE sponsored side stage with music from MorningBird, The Spinestealers and more. Doors open at noon. Tickets available here.
After the busy weekend, take it easy with Sonofmel at Sampaguita's Sunday Spot. A folksinger and poet from Hayward, WI, Sonofmel mixes story and song, inspired by a lifetime of traveling the world. The Sunday Spot is 1 p.m., Sundays in Aitkin.
