CASS LAKE — The Whispering Pines motel near Cass Lake sustained damage in a fire the night of Tuesday, Jan. 27.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reported shortly after 10 p.m., first responders arrived at one of the motel units engulfed in flames.
Members of the Cass Lake and Bemidji fire departments worked to extinguish the blaze, according to a release.
The extent of the damage is currently not known, and no injuries were reported.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office is assisting with the investigation.
