TWO HARBORS — A 69-year-old man died in a weather-related accident Wednesday, Nov. 26, in St. Louis County, west of Two Harbors.
Brian Pelander of Alden Township went outside to snowblow Wednesday morning.
His wife found him 45 minutes later underneath a large fallen tree.
In a news release, the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office said the high winds and heavy wet snow downed the tree while Pelander was snowblowing near it, fatally injuring him.
"No foul play is suspected and this is a tragic incident," the release stated.
