HERMANTOWN — A Duluth man rear-ended a Hermantown school bus early Tuesday, Oct. 21.
The Hermantown Police Department said there were no injuries. The 41-year-old man was transported to a hospital for a medical evaluation.
Police responded to the crash around 8:15 a.m. at the intersection of Stebner and Maple Grove roads.
According to law enforcement, the vehicles were heading north on Stebner Road. As they approached a red light, the man crashed his pickup truck into the bus.
The driver and one student were the only bus occupants.
Hermantown Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, Hermantown Fire Department and Mayo Ambulance assisted at the scene.
