A crowd watches the fireworks finale on the third day of the 114th Bovey Farmer's Day festivities on Aug. 31, 2025.

The 2025 festivities spanned four days and included four street dances, food and craft vendors, fireworks, a parade, a cornhole tournament, kid's activities, a car show and more.

BOVEY — The busiest weekend in beautiful Bovey was a success.

The normally quiet town on the western tip of the Iron Range draws a crowd every year for its long-running Farmer's Day celebrations. The 114th was busy again, with four days of activities including four street dances, food and craft vendors, fireworks, a parade, a cornhole tournament, kid's activities, a car show, a pancake feed, a book sale and more.

"A lot of time, planning and fundraising went it to the weekend," the organizers wrote on Facebook. "We hope everyone had as much fun as we did. We had a couple of hiccups along the way but overall the weekend was a success."

The weekend also marked the return of the city's only restaurant, with Mike's Bar 2.0 opening under the original owners, which many residents and visitors were happy to see.

The organizers asked commenters to share their favorites of the weekend:

"It was so much fun! Great wrap up to summer," Ann Johnson-Godfrey wrote. "Thank you all for your hard work and dedication to this festival!!"

"I was blown away by the effort and love that went into this event, the food trucks, petting zoo, and fireworks were just the icing on the cake," Leah Rae Kessler commented. "What a great weekend!!"

"Absolutely loved this farmers day weekend !! My family had laughs and dancing and singing and seriously some yummy food !!" Leanne Smith said. " ... seeing the town more alive every day was such a heartfelt feeling !!!"
