CHISHOLM — The Minnesota Department of Transportation will host a public meeting about the future needs of Highway 73 in Chisholm on Wednesday, Aug. 6.
The meeting will be 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Chisholm Senior Citizens Center. MnDOT said staff will present concepts, answer questions and give participants an opportunity to provide feedback.
The state is in the midst of a corridor study on the route from Highway 169 to the intersection of W. Lake Street and Third Avenue.
The study is needed to meet requirements for federal funding, according to MnDOT. It takes a deeper look into how the roadway functions today to plan out its future.
