DEER RIVER — A woman reported missing in Itasca County was found safe Tuesday, June 10, less than two hours after an endangered missing person alert was sent by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension
A cancellation of the alert said Cheryl Babock, 63, was located safe.
The Itasca County Sheriff's Office was asking for public assistance in its search for Babcock, who had been last seen Sunday in Deer River. The sheriff's office said there was concern for her mental health and well-being.
The sheriff's office thanked those who shared information and assisted in locating her.
