CHERRY — Construction is underway on a Highway 37 intersection near Cherry.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation is widening the highway to add left and right turn lanes where the highway meets Fraser and Spirit Lake roads.
Fraser Road cannot be accessed from Highway 37 through July 2. Traffic is detoured to County Road 25 to Town Line Road and back to Fraser. A later detour will be needed for Spirit Lake Road.
Highway 37 will remain open for the entire project, which should be completed in August.
