Alissa Plieseis was located safe, according to a March 12 update from the Itasca County Sheriff's Office.

BIGFORK — A 16-year-old girl has been located safe after she was reported missing Saturday, March 9, according to a news release from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.

A missing person alert was shared for Alissa Plieseis after she was last seen leaving her home in Bigfork Saturday evening.

In the news release, the Itasca County Sheriff's Office thanked those who assisted in locating Plieseis and sharing the information.
