KAXE/KBXE Member Appreciation Week is Oct. 27-Nov. 1, 2025.

We love our members! Tune in for Member Appreciation Week, Oct. 27-Nov. 1, 2025, and join us at some fun events.

It’s my absolute joy to chat with KAXE/KBXE members (and sometimes members sing to me, too!)

You all make my day — every day. I can say with zero reservations that no one else’s 9-to-5 comes with the privilege of talking such interesting, funny, caring and generous folks.

I know fall isn’t everyone’s favorite season, but it is definitely mine. I like scary movies, watching tiny, sugar-fueled ghouls run wild on the sidewalks of Bemidji, and engaging in the time-honored tradition of picking fights about candy corn.

The Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa is the fourth tribal nation to sign the intergovernmental contract that allows tribal cannabis businesses to operate off tribally regulated land.

As outdoor activities slow down, it’s also a perfect time to reflect on what we’re grateful for. At the top of our list is YOU, the members who keep this people-powered station going strong.

During Member Appreciation Week, we’re changing things up to give you more music, trivia and opportunities to connect with KAXE/KBXE.

We hope you can tune into some special programming this week or join us at one or more of our events.
