BEMIDJI — KAXE/KBXE presented a free show on Thursday, May 1, 2025, with Chastity Brown and Dilly Dally Alley at Bemidji’s newest venue, the Loft Event Center.
The one-night party invited community members to “Get Downtown with KBXE” for an evening of great music.

Brown is a celebrated Americana soul singer with a powerful and impactful voice and expansive melodies. Tennessee born, Brown has lived in Minneapolis for many years and has been a listener favorite on KAXE during her career, and her set at Grand Rapids Riverfest in 2022 solidified that status.

Dilly Dally Alley is an up and coming indie-pop, jazz-adjacent collective in Minneapolis. Having released their debut album in 2023, they joined the lineup of Mississippi Music during the summer of 2024 in Bemidji.
Music presented by KAXE/KBXE was made possible by the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment and the voters of Minnesota.
