The door is open. Come on in, pet the dog, leave your shoes by the door and get cozy. The KAXE/KBXE fall member drive is about to begin!
Last week, we got our first hard frost of the season in Northern Minnesota. Some of us even got snow! Most of us are reaching for an extra layer as we head out the door. If you get chilly out there on the hiking trail, in the school pickup line, or up in the deer stand, you can always come home to KAXE and warm up with our fun, funky and familiar programs.
But we need your help. Will you pledge your support during our fall member drive? It takes less than a minute. Give us a call at 218-326-1234 or just click the donate button at the top of this page.
When you become a member, renew your membership, make an additional gift or increase your monthly sustaining membership, you're helping us keep the music, news and conversations you care about on the air.
When you pledge this week, you can choose one of our brand-new KAXE T-shirts or another one of our fantastic KAXE member gifts.
We have some other treats for you, too:
- You can opt in to ticket drawings throughout the week. We’re giving away pairs of tickets to see the Avett Brothers/Trampled by Turtles, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, and Emily King!
- On Thursday, Oct. 24, play in-person trivia hosted by KAXE/KBXE staff in either Bemidji (Bemidji Brewing) or Grand Rapids (Klockow Brewing)!
- On Friday, tune in for “Dialed In,” a new call-in show hosted by Heidi Holtan and our news team.
- Enjoy our new Come Home to KAXE Spotify playlist, specially curated by the KAXE music team!
- On Saturday, Oct. 26, call in to Green Cheese and let cohosts Julie Crabb and Brandon Chase know how smart you are! (No idea what Green Cheese is? Tune in at 7 p.m. and see what all the fuss is about.)
- Tell us what foods remind you of home by emailing us at comments@kaxe.org or calling/texting 218-326-1234.
Membership is our largest single source of funding. In short, members keep us on the air!
If authentic, local radio powered by real people is as important to you as whether the butter is stored on the countertop or in the refrigerator, come home to KAXE and make your contribution today.
