On the Thursday Morning Show Jeff Sundin joins John Bauer for Early Bird Fishing Guide. Jeff lets us know that trout season is open. He gives some information on trout lakes and assures us that the DNR has continued stocking trout this year. Perch fishing has picked-up on both Winnie and Leech Lake but you need to be willing to move around the lake to find them. The road to the Northwest Angle has opened on Lake of the Woods and the resorts there are booking up fast as the walleye season is at its peak.
