Public Naloxone Training & Information Night

Heidi Holtan and Scott Hall spoke with Deb Noethe about an upcoming training at the Blandin Foundation.  Debbie is the president of  the Garrett Bethke Foundation.  An organization whos mission is to make an impact and a difference in our community, led by people with a desire to help other families struggling with addiction.

Public Naloxone Training & Information Night  will help participants recognize signs and symptoms of an overdose. Learn what to do during an over dose and how to administer Naloxone (Narcan). Tuesday, May 15th, 2018 - 6:30pm - 8pm at the Blandin Foundation in Grand Rapids.  This training is intended for active substance users or those concerned for a loved one, friend or community member.

Heidi Holtan has been involved with KAXE since 2002. Now as Director of Content and Public Affairs she manages and is the host of the KAXE Morning Show, including a variety of local content like Phenology, What's for Breakfast, Area Voices, The Sports Page and much more, alongside Morning Edition from NPR. Her latest project is Ham Radio: Cooking with Amy Thielen.
