"Vinyl Nation" a look at the new generation of vinyl collectors

Vinyl collecting is experiencing a renaissance.  In 2019, more than 18.8 million vinyl albums were sold in the US alone.  A new documentary - "Vinyl Nation" takes a deep dive into this growing trend.  Sarah Bignall spoke with the Director/Producer -  Kevin Smokler and Chris Boone. 

 

Kevin is a writer and first time film maker.  We spoke to Kevin most recently about his book Brat Pack America: A Love Letter to 80’s Teen Movies.  Chris Boone is a screenwriter and film maker and contributing writer to “No Film School.”
