Snow Sculpture at Ely Winter Festival

Every First Friday we connect with Betty Firth from the Ely Folk School to find out what classes are being offered at the folk school in the coming weeks.  Ely's Winter Festival started yesterday and continues thru February 15th.  Betty filled us in on many of the related activities such as the beardfest, the snow sculpture competition, the art walk and much more!  Click on the link to find out John coaxes Betty into singing for us on the morning show.

Since joining the station in 2002 as a volunteer music programmer, she has worn many hats including the weekly book program, Realgoodwords, hosting the Morning Show, creation and host of the weekly call-in program Between You and Me, serving as Outreach Producer. Program Director, News Director and currently Director of Content and Public Affairs.
