Alison Auneis an art professor at the University of Minnesota in Duluth. She's also a painter who creates large scale, textile inspired pieces that weave narratives of scandinavian heritage and folklore throughout the work. She will be speaking at the MacRostie Art Center at 6pm tonight (Wednesday, December 19th). Her work will be on display at the MacRostie until December 28th.
