Every first Friday of the month, we connect with folks across northern Minnesota and find out what is happening in the arts scenes across our listening area. Karen Goulet is the Program Director for the Miikanan Gallery inside the Watermark Art Center in Bemidji. "Miikanan" means "many paths" and the gallery is dedicated solely to indigenous art. Tonight, the gallery hosts its first artist reception for the many artists whose work was juried into the collaborate show called “Aazhooman” which means “convergence.” In this Area Voices segment, Heidi speaks with Karen about the show.
Area Voices is made possible by the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund and the people of Minnesota.
