When Wilco keyboardist Mikael Jorgensen was a child, he visited his sound-engineer father Joe Jorgensen as he worked with jazz pianist and composer Bob James. Now,  Mikael Jorgensen is making “Avant Smooth,” a documentary about James’ life and music.
