BRAINERD — Brainerd High School celebrates its 150th anniversary with the “Coming Home: How Can I Keep from Singing?” concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30.

The Curt Hansen Memorial Homecoming Concert will be performed at the Gichi-ziibi Center for the Arts.

Anyone is welcome to sing, whether a Brainerd graduate or not, with the choir. There is nothing to memorize and you don’t have to dress up. Only one rehearsal is required, which is the afternoon of the concert. There is also an optional rehearsal Thursday.

Mark Aamot, Michael Smith, Sarah Aamot, Thomas Rossin and Brian Stubbs, with a special conducting appearance by Craig Arnold will lead the “pick up” choir.

The event features a free will offering. Register to sing here.
