Great Tails Animal Rescue Shelter Construction Update; Masquerade Gala Fundraiser

Great Tails Animal Rescue serves northern Minnesota and is currently raising funds for construction of a permanent shelter space. Shannon Anttila, GRAR co-founder and Board Member, along with volunteer foster parent, Janelle and the adoptable dog of the week, Luna, joined Kari Hedlund and John Bauer to discuss the great need need and great reward that comes with this type of rescue organization. Click the "Listen" player above to hear the full conversation.

GTAR is building a new facility on land that was donated to the group by the City of Cohasset. That gift allowed for the organization to begin planning, building, and moving into a more-permanent home. The artists renderings of the new building were recently released to GTAR. The volunteer-run non-profit group is now raising funds for the construction project and will host a GTAR Masquerade Gala on Friday October 21st.

You can learn more about the event and about how you can support GTAR's mission by visiting their page here.
