Indigenous Peoples' Day: Bemidji City Council Member Audrey Thayer

The Bemidji Pioneer reported last week that before other agenda items were considered at Monday night’s Bemidji City Council meeting, Mayor Jorge Prince was joined by council members Daniel Jourdain and Audrey Thayer in reading a proclamation, declaring the second Monday in October as Indigenous Peoples Day. Audrey joined us today to talk about leadership and the importance of issues over politics.
