New Manufacturing Company Lake Shirts is Looking for Workers for Expansion in Bigfork

We have regular conversations about the business and economics of northern Minnesota. Tamara Lowney is the Executive Director of IEDC - Itasca EconomicDevelopment Corporation. She called yesterday with the news that a MN Manufacturer was interested in expanding in Bigfork. Why Bigfork we asked?

At the end of 2020, Montreal based e2ip Technologiesclosed its Bigfork location for good.

The company was one of the largest private businesses operating in the city with a population of less than 500.

The closure impacted 60 employees.

And that's whyLakeShirts - a Detroit Lakes, MN based manufacturer of t-shirts, sweatshirts, stickers and more. Community meetings are set up for Thursday August 19th at the Bigfork City Hall form 11-1pm and 3-6pm. Their work environment is casual and you are welcome to bring your dog.
