Appearing today at the 20th Century Fox Studio in Los Angeles, Republican presidential hopeful Bob Dole said that Americans were looking for movies that promoted good moral values, not those which glorify violence and casual sex. He was less critical of the movie industry than he was in a speech earlier this year, and praised certain movies for encouraging good values like patriotism. Both Dole and President Clinton are trying to convince voters that they are attuned to their concerns about declining values. NPR's Elizabeth Arnold reports.
