Religious Pluralism

The disproportionate power given to political parties representing Orthodox Jews in the fragile new coalition formed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is making American Jews, most of whom belong to the Conservative and Reform movements, nervous. At issue is how far the Orthodox leaders in Netanyahu's government will go in setting a social and religious agenda in Israel that will alienate Conservative and Reform Jews. NPR's Ted Clark reports.
