For a seasoned musician to head into the studio without any songs written is the classic story. Let the creativity flow in the studio and go!
For a younger musician working on only their third record, that is an entirely different story.
Think of the confidence needed to pull that off. The letting go of ego. Knowing yourself and band well enough.
And yet, that's precisely what Jaime Wyatt did for her latest release, Feel Good. What came out of those sessions is a collection of songs that are a proclamation of self-love, trusting one-self without judgement, and permission to 'feel good'.
Her last two albums have lived in more of the 70s outlaw country style, while Feel Good is much closer to the 60s era of country-soul.
Produced by Adrian Quesada (Black Pumas, Grupo Fantasma), the album spotlights a fuller sound and band while showcasing Wyatt's warm vocals.
