Juneau Black's Murder Mystery Takes Place in a Town of Critters

There has been a murder in the small town of Shady Hollow. New to the town, reporter Vera Vixen is on the case, aided by her friend Lenore Lee, owner of the bookstore. Also on the case is Deputy Orville Braun whose by the book methods keep him clashing against Vera Vixen’s inquisitiveness as they both try to solve the crime. Did I mention that the citizens of Shady Hollow are all animals? Shady Hollow is the creation of Juneau Black which is the pen name of writers Jocelyn Cole and Sharon Nagel.
