Phenology Talkbacks: 3/30/21

Phenology is the rhythmic biological nature of events as they relate to climate. Phenology Talkbacks are an opportunity for us to hear what you are noticing outside.  We heard some great reports from classrooms as well as from listeners this week!

Hill City 2nd graders report Canada geese, a robin, and the song of a cardinal!

Students at North Shore Community School noticed, among other things, an eagle and two crows sharing the delicious carcass of a deer!

North Shore Community School Classroom Report

John also heard from several listeners this week...  Michelle Martin's students are away from her classroom because of spring break, but she sent in some thoughts.  Ron and Jolene wondered about the mystery of the missing trailing arbutus, and Dick wrote in with wonder regarding black squirrels.

Listener Emails
