Every week we hear from Minnesota school kids as they share what they've been observing outside. This week there were some incredible phenology notes gathered by the kids - porcupines, great blue herons, increased daylight, snowdays, slushy lakes, turkeys and syrup are just the tip of the iceberg. We even heard from students at the University of MN St. Paul campus! Click on the reports to hear the full reports from our intrepid reporters, a song from U of M students and much more!
What are you noticing outside? We would love to hear from you whether you are in a classroom or your living room! Don't hesitate to email or give us a jingle and leave a message at 218.999.9876. Also, don't hesitate to check out John's Phenology Observation Worksheet for April! Have fun looking for or listening for your first loon, spring peepers, wood frogs and much more! At the very least, get outside and enjoy the seasonal changes happening!
