This week Marshall tells us about the appointment of the interim mayor of Ely, Chuck Novak, who was defeated in the November elections by an opponent who had dropped out of the race due to health concerns.
Marshall informs us about the good news for Lamppa Manufacturing in Tower with a tax credit that will effectively knock 26 percent off the price of a new Lamppa-built wood furnace beginning this year and we learn more about Minnesota Power’s EnergyForward plan to deliver carbon-free electricity within 30 years.
