Early Bird Fishing Guide Jeff Sundin joins John Bauer and Heidi Holtan on the Thursday Morning Show. This week Jeff tells us not to put our fishing gear away yet, the colder night temperatures has helped to improve ice conditions. He advises people not to drive vehicles on the ice but walk out or use an ATV and he recommends wearing cleats. There is open water on Rainy River and people are catching walleyes from their boats. The season is open until April 15th, Jeff gives us tips on the size of fish to expect and reminds us it is catch and release only.
