On a trip to the San Diego area at the end of January, twelve Northern Community Radio members and John Latimer spent part of one day with Dr. Jeff Krooks. Jeff is a marine biologist who led our group on a tour of the Tijuana Estuary on the border of California and Mexico. Jeff is the director of the Tijuana River National Estuarine Research Reserve.
