Local Paramedic Simon Gretton

During the COVID-19 pandemic only essential workers are staying on the job.  On the extra hour of the Thursday Morning Show, Heidi Holtan talks with local paramedic Simon Gretton.  Simon talks about what it's  like to be on the front lines and of the importance of community response in these trying times.

Tamara Lowney from the Itasca Economic Development Corporation talks with Heidi and John on the Thursday Morning Show.  Tamara talks about the new loan program available to local businesses in the Grand Rapids area during the COVID-19 pandemic.  She reveals that the IEDC survey responses of over 100 local businesses showed that about half of those businesses could not last four weeks without being open.

Heidi gives contact information on other organizations helping businesses in other areas of Northern Minnesota.
