"Music is the only thing that makes me feel better...if you learn how to play the ukulele or the keyboard, you can have that for the rest of your life." - Mark Munson

The ever popular CenterStage Minnesota Concert Series will be back this fall for it's fourth season! So far, this collaboration between KAXE/KBXE and The Reif Center has brought some seriously incredible acts to Grand Rapids in a one of a kind listening room; The Lowest Pair, jeremy messersmith, The Pines, Bad Bad Hats, Pert Near Sandstone, Erik Koskinen, The Cactus Blossoms, Actual Wolf, Gaelynn Lea...maybe I should just list all of the bands that have come because honestly, every show offers stunning talents from around Minnesota.

Gabriel Douglas, founding member of The 4onthefloor, stopped by the KBXE studios recently to talk about life in the band--and at the cabin on vacation. Hear the whole conversation here.

Tune in Friday's at 2:00 and 10:00 for great Minnesota music on Centerstage Minnesota.

The band Dancing Light stopped by the KBXE studio in Bemidji recently to sing a couple songs and tell a few stories. Their long career locally means there was lots to talk about. It was fun to have Greg, Kiki, and Sabbastian on the air live. Hear the whole conversation by clicking below.

Local musician Jacob Mahon stopped in to the KBXE studio with four friends he's calling, The Salty Dogs. Hear the conversation about songwriting, the adreneline rush of performing, and the emptiness of Mondays. Tune in to CenterStage Minnesota every Friday at 2 and 10.
