It’s volunteer appreciation week here at Northern Community Radio, a time to say thanks to the amazing people who keep things going at KAXE and KBXE. Volunteers. Things have been different this year, but doors opened for vaccinated volunteers to producer on-air shows again in May. One of those volunteers is Jack Shelton, a former board member and an on-air host who’s not afraid to play a little opera sometimes. Jack encourages anyone to give hosting a radio show a try.
