While Jenny Owen Youngs hasn't released a full length album since 2012, she has been incredibly prolific in what might seem to be unexpected ways for the folk musician.
She hosts two popular podcasts rewatching shows with cult-followings like Veronica Mars and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, a third podcast that features conversations with her creative musical collaborators, and writing songs for stars like Pitbull ('Bad Man') and Panic! At the Disco (the huge hit 'High Hopes').
Out with her 4th record, Avalanche, Youngs taps into heartache, loss, hope and love. The songs beautifully hit a balance of hooks and unexpected turns with her calming vocals at the center.
