It's January, and although we encourage embracing the outdoors during winter, sometimes you just need to hunker down with some comfort TV.
There's nothing better than some favorite cartoons to provide that comfort. Our Question of the Week explores our community's favorite cartoons.
Here's what we heard
If this were a popularity contest, there are some definite front-runners. Rocky and Bullwinkle, The Jetsons, Scooby Doo and Looney Tunes got many mentions through our text line and Facebook post.

We heard some great stories, too!
KAXE volunteer Michael Small told us, "When I was 6 years old, a favorite was Mighty Mouse, one of the first super heroes. Because Mighty Mouse could fly, I was discovered trying to take the screen off the upstairs window. I wanted to fly out that window. I was caught before I leaped ... thankfully."
Jodi from Duluth texted, "I have fond memories of Underdog, Scooby Doo, Josie and the Pussycats, Hong Kong Phooey. My older sister and I loved Saturday cartoons. Julie could even make French toast sometimes."
Brenda from Grand Rapids said, "The Beatles cartoon was my favorite! Saturday sleepovers with my third grade BFF, Linda!"
Read our Question of the Week post on our Facebook page for more suggestions, and click the link above to listen to a conversation from Wednesday's KAXE Morning Show with Andrew Dziengel, Heather Johnson, and Jen Kellen. You'll hear Andrew do no less than five cartoon impressions.
