Jeanie and Janie Martz are twin sisters who started Ruth’s Free Wig Closet of Aitkin 20 years ago. Ruth’s Free Wig Closet is a non-profit organization that offers wigs, wig styling and cutting, hats, scarves and caps at no charge to those suffering from hair loss due to chemotherapy or other medical situations. They join Heidi and John in the studio for an Area Voices segment on the Friday Morning Show.
Joining the group are Jesse Davis and Sharon Rasmussen of the Move It Real Estate Group in Grand Rapids. They talk about the new Ruth’s Free Wig Closet opening in Grand Rapids at the United Methodist Church. Next week, March 14th through the 18th from 9am to 3pm, donations can be made at the church for the chapter opening in Grand Rapids. Donations of wigs, hairbrushes, combs, wig stands, anything to do with wigs are welcome.
