This documentary by Peabody award winning producer David Isay is an oral history of Iolene Catalano, a woman who lived with drug abuse and prostitution, and who died last year of AIDS. Isay recorded more than 30 hours worth of interviews with Iolene, who wanted, before her death, to let the world know that she was something more than an addict or criminal, that she was a poet and singer. Jury Reports 6-6 Split in Killen Murder Trial
Jurors report they are split 6-6 in the murder trial of former Ku Klux Klan leader Edgar Ray Killen. The 80-year-old defendant is accused of organizing the killing of three voting rights volunteers in Philadelphia, Miss., in 1964. It was one of the civil rights era's most notorious crimes.

Motel 6 Agrees To Pay $7.6 Million To Former Guests To Settle Lawsuit
Motel 6 has settled a class-action lawsuit filed after it was found the hotel had given private guest information to Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents. The chain agreed to pay $7.6 million.
