Dudley Edmonson

We talk with artists, photographers, authors and nature enthusiasts frequently on KAXE/KBXE.  Today we met Duluth nature photographer Dudley Edmonson.

Dudley's career has spanned nearly 3 decades - he has been featured in galleries and in nearly 100 different publications.  You can see his work in Stan Tekiela's Bird:  The Definitive Visual Guide published by Audobon.  His book "The Black and Brown Faces in America's Wild Places" features 20 other African Americans with deep connections to nature.

Last September Grist spotlighted Dudley in their article "Photographing nature while black: One man’s quest to make green spaces less white."
