Marshall Helmberger is editor and publisher of the Timberjay newspaper, he joins Heidi each Friday for Border News Roundup. This week he explains the Minnesota Supreme Courts mixed verdict on the future of the proposed PolyMet copper-nickel mine.
Marshall also gives us some good and bad news concerning nature. The good news is the evening grosbeaks are back with numbers increasing after a 20-year dip in population. The bad news is about the new study out on the decline of bats due to the impact of white-nose syndrome that has now killed over 90% of the three most common bat species in our area.
