Border News Roundup: Policing, Council Elections, Book Vending Machine and the State Nordic Ski Meet

Friday mornings during Border News Roundup we get a chance to check in with Marshall Helmberger, the editor and publisher of The Timberjay newspaperserving NE Minnesota.  Today Marshall talks about the controversy over the City of Tower forming a police department or deciding to rely on the St. Louis County Sheriff Department.  He tells us about the Greenwood Township elections for clerk and treasurer, the ribbon cutting at Washington Elementary in Ely for a new vending machine that dispenses only books and the Minnesota State Nordic Ski Meet being held at Giant’s Ridge this weekend.
