100 Rural Women is an organization in Minnesota with the mission to serve and support rural women, based on models of networking, leadership, mentorship and civic engagement. Their goal is to empower women in community and cultivate leadership skills.
Founder and executive director Teresa Kitteridge joins Heidi on the extra hour of the Monday Morning Show. She tells how the group kept going with Zoom meetings during the pandemic. Teresa talks about the Rural Women Breakfast Club webinar series that is now underway. This week’s topic ”All About Voting” can be found here.
Coming up 100 Rural Women will be kicking off a book club and holding the first of 100 meetings across Minnesota via Zoom, starting in NW Minnesota and moving across the state hoping to engage as many women as they can.
