Universal Health Care Panel in Ely October 10th at 7pm

Rose Roach joined us this morning.  She's the Executive Director of the Minnesota Nurses Assocation.  They describe themselves as:

We are 22,000 dedicated RNs and other healthcare professionals in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa, who promote the professional, economic, and personal well-being of nurses through collective action. Our members care for patients in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and other healthcare settings.

Rose explains in our interview why their organization is in support of Universal Health Care.  Tonight at Vermilion Community College in Ely from 7-8:30 Rose will be on a panel with Congressional District 8 DFL candidate Joe Radinovich, Mike Maleska, a member and former president of United Steelworkers Local 6860, of Hibbing; and Bruce Miller, Outreach Director for the Minnesota Farmers Union.  A question and answer period will follow the presentations.
