VIRGINIA — A celebration and indoor march to recognize the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. will take place Monday, Jan. 20, at the Minnesota North College, Mesabi Range Campus in Virginia.
The event is noon to 2 p.m.
The community is invited to the celebration, which will include keynote speaker, Keith Turner, Dean of Student Success, Equity, and Inclusion at Minnesota North College. Turner will share his thoughts and experiences regarding Martin Luther King Jr.’s significant work and legacy.
A variety of other local speakers and Minnesota North College students will present their views and provide musical entertainment. A bounce house, games and face painting will be available for children.
