The Northern St. Louis County Mental Health Local Advisory Council is hosting a forum as an opportunity for people to provide input to county commissioners and staff from Public Health and Human Services.

MOUNTAIN IRON — The Northern St. Louis County Mental Health Local Advisory Council is hosting a public meeting and listening session to gather input on mental health needs for children, older adults, and law enforcement.

The listening session will be 4:30-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, at the Mountain Iron Community Center.

The forum is an opportunity for people to provide input to county commissioners and staff from county Public Health and Human Services.

The council said the goal is to gather information about unique mental health needs in northern St. Louis County.

People also can submit their personal stories of lived experiences — either anonymously or to be shared as part of the conversation — through an online survey.

Visit bit.ly/Northern SLCMentalHealth to complete the survey.
