BALL BLUFF — The 41st annual St. Urho’s Day Pancake Breakfast will be Saturday, March 11, at the Jacobson Community Center.
The event is 7:30-11:30 a.m. and includes all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausages and grapes.
Attendees are asked to wear purple and green to celebrate St. Urho, the legendary patron saint of Finland.
According to legend, St. Urho chased the grasshoppers out of ancient Finland, saving the grape crop and the jobs of Finnish vineyard workers.
