Jeff Sundin joins Heidi Holtan and John Bauer via Zoom for Early Bird Fishing on the Thursday Morning show. This week Jeff is just returning from a trip to Lake of the Woods. The trip was cut short because of the cold weather moving in, but the fishing was good. He says the secret is to get away from the crowds and to bring the fish in by jigging a big and flashy lure to get their attention.
Jeff tells us they are still catching walleyes on Winnie but the perch bite is on! He gives us tips on where to find them and tells us that the resort roads are open at all areas of the lake.
